Clean Energy Connections Presents: The Circular Economy
March 5, 2019 6:30 pm
The Urban Future Lab and Solar 1 are excited to partner with Circular City Week for the first Clean Energy Connections of the year! This episode, we're giving an intro to the Circular Economy. Join us for an engaging discussion on the rapidly emerging market for closing the loop on waste, materials, water and energy use in cities around the word. The panel will focus on how New York City can incorporate circularity into its own economy as it targets zero waste to landfills by 2030. We'll look at the policy implications, the investment landscape, and next generation technologies connected to organic waste, construction materials, waste to energy generation, and more.
Beer is provided through a generous donation by Toast Ale - award winning beer brewed with fresh surplus bread.
